what's with all the drama? Everywhere I look, there is drama! You would think that people would just be happy to have a job, but they find ways to complain about everything.
For instance, A friend of mine works down the road from me. She works for a locally owned Gym. She wants to quit because she doesn't like her boss and his wife, but unless she is laid off or fired, she can't afford to quit. She is blessed just to have a JOB!!! Here in the South, as with the rest of the country I am sure, it is difficult to find steady employment. I understand that she has a family and alot of resposibilities , but why should she be collecting unemployment when she is perfectly well able to work? I love her and I understand that she is stressed, but keep working, Honey! You may not be able to find work when you decide you want to go back and unemployment is only temporary.
On the other hand, another friend of mine was laid off from her job about six months ago. She has been steadily looking for a new one and has had no luck. She has a great outlook on everything and she is 'keeping the Faith"! She knows that she will find something soon.
She, considering the circumstances, would have everything to complain about, but she doesn't. She is completely at ease and she even has joy. She told me that she is looking at this trial as a new beginning. I admire that! I know she will make it!
People, don't take your jobs and families for granted. Just to be bringing home a paycheck is a blessing and if you're found faithful with the small things, you will be given more! Patience and Peace are the keys to contentment!
